Auburn House Trust

The Auburn House Trust was established to promote quality early childhood education. The programme First Children evolved from foundational work with the Khomani Bushmen to provide holistic education that met the needs of their children. The 2016 Census revealed that children and women living in rural areas, particularly in the Eastern Cape and Limpopo, are drastically affected by poverty. For this reason, most of our work is set in the rural Eastern Cape.
